LED video wall or projection?

Everybody selling LED walls in Orlando will tell you to rent an LED wall. Here's the honest version, because the wrong call on this line item is expensive in both directions.

Rent an LED video wall when

  • The room has ambient light you can't kill — LED beats projection every time in a bright ballroom
  • You need the screen to be part of the set, not a rectangle floating in front of it
  • Your content is brand-critical and needs saturated color and deep black
  • You're in a trade show booth where a projector throw isn't physically possible
  • Cameras are in the room and you want the screen to read clean on the broadcast

Stick with projection when

  • You need a very large image on a tight budget — projection is still far cheaper per square foot
  • The room goes properly dark and you control the house lights
  • You need side screens for IMAG rather than one hero screen
  • Load-in time or rigging points are limited
  • The content is slides and video playback, not a full-bleed brand environment
On pixel pitch Pitch is the distance between LEDs, and it sets how close an audience can sit before the image breaks up. Tighter pitch costs more. For a ballroom general session where the front row is reasonably far back, a mid-range indoor pitch is usually plenty; a trade show booth where people stand three feet away needs something finer. Tell us the room depth and where the front row lands and we'll spec it rather than sell you the tightest pitch on the truck.

Let's Talk About Your Event Experience Needs.

Corporate video questions we get a lot

How much does corporate video production cost in Orlando?

It comes down to camera count, crew, how many days you're in the building, and whether you need an edited deliverable afterward or just a clean recording. A single locked-off camera capturing a keynote is a very different number than a three-camera IMAG package with a switcher and a director. Send us the agenda and room set and we'll quote the actual event.

What is IMAG, and does my event need it?

IMAG means image magnification — live camera feed of your presenter put up on the screens so the back of the room can see faces and gestures. If your room seats more than a few hundred people, or the stage is far from the back rows, IMAG is usually the difference between an engaged audience and a room watching slides.

How many cameras do I need?

One camera covers a straightforward recording of a single presenter. Two lets you cut between a wide shot and a close-up, which is the usual minimum for anything you'll publish afterward. Three or more comes in for panels, audience reaction and Q&A. We'll recommend based on the room and what you plan to do with the footage.

Do you edit the footage afterward, or just record it?

Both. Some clients want a clean recording of each session handed over at load-out; others want cut-down highlight pieces, sizzle reels or session videos for on-demand. Tell us which before the event, because it changes how we shoot and how much coverage we need.

Can you record and live stream the same event?

Yes, and it's usually cheaper to do both at once than to add streaming later. The cameras and switching are already in the room. See our live webcasting services for the streaming side, including registration pages and white-labeled players.

What do you need from us before the event?

The run of show, the room set or floor plan, and presenter decks as early as your speakers will give them up. If we're running a speaker ready room, the earlier decks arrive the more problems we catch before they're a problem on stage.

Do you provide the screens, or just the cameras?

Everything on the screen and everything feeding it — projection and screens, LED video walls, switching, playback and content operation. We also handle audio and stage lighting if you'd rather run one vendor for the whole room.

Do you travel outside Orlando?

We're based in Winter Park and work all of Florida — Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista, Tampa, Jacksonville, Gainesville and the coasts — and we travel nationwide for clients who ask us to.
